Default FORMULA

I am trying to formulate a spreadsheet with the following. COlumn D is the
grand total. It is made up of a SUM plus column E, F & G which are all a
percentage of COLUMN D before the total of E, F & G are added. Does this
make sense? Can anyone help me write a formula that autopopulates these
totals? Each time a right a formula it is incorrect because it is taking the
TOTAL in column D and adding the % amount... confused?
