You have to use the old DOS commands. Highlight what you want to copy and do a ctrl c then when you get to the comments box point and do a ctrl v. To cut and paste use ctrl x and ctrl v. I selected that picture and did ctrl-c I selected a cell Insert|comment I hit ctrl-v and got a beep. I used xl2003 for my tests. You say you can't get it to work in 2003 and I just tried everything I could think of in 2007. I'm so sorry I mis-lead everyone. I know I could do this before. Maybe you actually added a picture using the technique that Deb shared. Or added a picture to an image in userform via ctrl-v in that image's picture property in the property window???
