Default moving worksheets

i have office 2007.

Ever since i installed this I can't move worksheets from spreadsheet to ss.
I get an error message saying that the destination worksheet has fewer rows
and columns. This function worked effortlessly in office 2003. What gives.

You are getting that message because you're trying to move an Excel07
worksheet with over 1M rows into an earlier version that only supports 65
thousand rows.

If you make sure that both workbooks are in the same file format you'll have
no trouble. Somewhere there is a setting in 2007 to create new workbooks in
compatibility mode - meaning they'll only have 65k rows and 256 cols. If
that's not an issue, it may eliminate the issue in the future.

Thanks Duke. I guess I'm still struggling. I saved both spreadsheets as
excell macro enabled worksheets and still have the same problem. Can you
expand on the compatibility mode a little more?
