This is my last resort at the moment. I am at my whits end trying to find a
solution for this. I want to Permanently disable autorecover on excel which is used on my server - so for 'All Users' not just each workbook. Excel 2003 SP3 version i have running. I have added / reinstalled etc - changed reg settings still to no avail. I want to remove this and stop autosaving entirely. Surely there is some setting in the Reg that i can create / edit? Thanks in advance for any help on this. |

Not to state the obvious, but have you unchecked autorecovery...
Tools Options Save uncheck 'Save Autorecovery' uncheck 'Disable Autorecover' -- Hope this helps. Thanks in advance for your feedback. Yes i have - but as i mentioned this is for all users not just me...if i do
this and log on as another user they then need to do the same. Problem is we have hundreds of users using this via citrix and they dont want to have to manually do this everytime really. Seems that its a user-specific setting, hence why i am asking about Registry changes. Thanks |
