Default Macro Button

I've created a workbook with some "management eyes only" worksheets but other
sheets need to be seen by all employees. The document opens up to a home
page with macro buttons that when selected go to specific tabs in the
document. When left the tabs are hidden. My question I'm seeking help with
is if there is a way that when a particular macro button is selected, it asks
for a password that must first be entered before going to one of these sheets
that isn't open to everyone. Any ideas.

Anything we give you can be easily worked around. XL is not a secure
environment to use with sensitive data. If you gave that spreadsheet to me I
can almost guarantee you that I would be able to see all of the sheets in a
matter of seconds no matter what protection you placed on them. So generally
speaking whatever you are about to do it will be more work than it will be
worth.

Ok, but you aren't the one opening this file. I'm still interested to know
if this is possible and if anyone could direct on how to do it.

Thanks.
