Default Exporting Quickbooks Data into Excel

When I run a report and export it into Excel, the file size is way larger
than it should be. It seems like when the file gets imported into Excel,
there are thousands of extra lines that don't contain any data. I end up
having to copy and paste the data into a new Excel spreadsheet. Does anyone
know how to fix this problem?
