I have regularly used parameter queries ie using square brackets to prompt
the user for a data value to run excel queries. This has worked fine. Recently we are installing new pc's with standardised software and the parameter query doesn't work. It seems to set it up OK and the sql shows the correct syntax but on running and entering the parameter no error is indicated but no results are shown either. I have a lot of jobs using this technique. Has anybody any ideas whether it is something to do with how office is installed or is there a switch somewhere ? Both old and new pcs are windows xp -- daveg |
