Default Rows and Columns

Hello. On my work sheet I entered 3 columns of data. I adjusted the columns
and rows to the custom ranges that I needed. Next to this data I would like
to add several more areas of different data. However, I need different
ranges of height and width with my columns and rows. How can I change the
height and width of columns and rows for my new data without affecting the
data I already entered?
Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your help.

hi
if i understand correctly, you can't.
you can adjust row heights which effect the entire row
you can adjust column widths which effect the entire column
but you cannnot adjust the heights and widths of individuel cells.
you might consider merged cells but i do not recomend using merged cells.
never have, never will. i don't use them and cosider merged cells as the
stupidest thing microsoft ever came up with primarily because it interfers
with too many other things.

Does it really matter if the adjustment is not possible since you don't
need to show cell boundaries when you print?

hi
whether the borders show or not, they are still there. borders are formating
which has nothing to do this cell boundaries.

You can have different row heights in adjacent sections of a sheet and
also different column widths. AFAIK, you just have to highlight the rows
or colums that you want to change and Format Row Height (or column
width) as appropriate. Not that I have ever wanted to and can't see a
personal requirement :-)
