Tell us what you've done, and why it doesn't work.
Have you tried using Save As... in Excel? Have you tried Windows Explorer. Copying files is pretty basic, so we need to know the level of your problem. Regards, Fred. "Sparky" wrote in message ... Best not to save to or open from removable media.
Could lead to problems Save the file to your HDD then just copy to the flash using windows explorer. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP I know the concern for saving/opening from floppy drives, but I've been using a USB drive on a pretty regular basis for opening and saving files. I pay attention to the "safe to remove hardware" procedure, but are there also other problems? Bill |

Excel saves a hidden file so NEVER saveto or from removable media. Save and
COPY to be safe. -- Don Guillett Microsoft MVP Excel SalesAid Software "Bill Sharpe" wrote in message ... Gord Dibben wrote: Best not to save to or open from removable media.
