Excel print jobs
Hello,
I'm troubleshooting some real slow print jobs from Excel to an HP Photosmart b8330 locally attached with usb. The spreadsheets (I didn't make them!) include some .bmp. The spreadsheet itself is about 2MB. When I send it to the printer and bring up the queue, it shows the size of the print job as 60MB. Why is this? Why would the print job show as 30x the size of the spreadsheet itself? Thanks for any ideas. |

Excel print jobs
It's the printing of the bmp images that causes the issue.

I suspect it is because the entire page has to be converted to an image so as to print the bmp as part of it. Some printers can handle text and images, some can't. |
