Default custom cell

i want to be able to just put in 2 numbers instead of 6 each time. How can i
custom a cell to be able to put 00-00000 ?

i tried to use the 000"-00-000" put it would not work for the above. any
suggestions?

DId you mean 00-0000 or 00.0000??

Default custom cell

try doing format/cell then in the category choose Custom and type in the
following

00-00000

when you enter 1234567 , it will show as 12-34567
