The built-in tables of Excel have filters for each column. When a filter is
set temporarily and then cleared, many times, a single row will remain hidden. This hidden row affects the built-in total row at the bottom of the table. The total won't count hidden cells. I know how to fix this formula, but I don't want to. I like how it's adding. What I need to fix is the row that remains hidden after the filter is cleared. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this bug? |

What are the exact step-by-step instructions to unfailingly recreate this bug? -- Jim "TKS_Mark" wrote in message ... | The built-in tables of Excel have filters for each column. I tried on a blank table to re-create it, but could not. The table in
question has 44 columns. That could contribute to the problem. I did my test on just 4 columns. I've been filtering on the first column. I can recreate it each time in the files that have the problems. But some tables in the same file don't hiccup even though they have a very similar format.
