Default Show = sign

Hello,

One user asked me at my last Excel 2003 training session how to show the "="
sign on the next to the function bar. He said that with the 2000 Version the
"=" sign was shown next to the fx sign but I have not found a way to get this
back. Could it be that Microsoft has eliminated this in 2003?

Actually, MS eliminated it in xl2002.

But there is an equal sign icon that you can add to your favorite toolbar.

Tools|Customize|Commands tab|Insert Category
(a little more than half way down the commands list.)

Thanks for the tip!
