Good morning!
I have created a spreadsheet with three columns. Col A is Tally#. It is an autonumber 1-200. Column B is Length. The data for Length is not entered using the keyboard. It is entered via blue-tooth from a laser distance meter. Column C is a running total. I have protected Column A and Column C. I would like for the user to enter his or her data via blue tooth onto B. Validation is done and working. My problem and or question is Column B. I would like to have the active cell start on B6 and for the user to start beaming numbers. I would like for Excel to start moving the active cell down to keep entering data. However, if the user accidentally clicks on a cell above or below the current cell then, I want to beep him with a messagea saying "this sell contains information". We need to be careful not to over write data unless we need to change and it is important that we do not skp cells. Thank you! I apologize if this is confusing. -- Ofelia |
