I'm importing text via the wizard. Some strings are greater than 1027
characters in length. When the strings exceed 1027, they are truncated. Is there a way to modify the cells to allow longer strings? |

hi
in xl help type the word specification. this will give you the spec and limits of your version of excel. 2003 cell will hold 32767 characters but only 1024 show in the cell. all 32767 show in the formula bar 2007 same as above but not sure about how many will show in the cell. i assume the same. no way to adjust this....hard coded into excel. specs and limits.
