Make Workbook Password protected tp open
Hello,
How can I make a workbook so you need a password to open it period. In other words, I don't want anyone to open it to view the contents in in read only unless they have the password. Thanks!! |

Make Workbook Password protected tp open
Do a FILE/SAVE, or if the file has been previously saved FILE/SAVE AS and at
the top of the file list on the right is a TOOLS drop down list. Click the TOOLS drop down button and select GENERAL OPTIONS. You can set a password to open the file, and if you want to limit who can modify it another password to make changes to the file. -- Kevin Backmann "Stockwell43" wrote: Hello, How can I make a workbook so you need a password to open it period.
