Default Stability of Data Connections

I have a spreadsheet that uses a data connection to Yahoo Finance pages to
import income, balance sheet and cash flow information for a particular firm.
I set up the connection using the Web Query tool. I can get the proper
address (eg. http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=MSFT) saved and then select the
proper table to import. Sometimes the table imports, sometimes it does not,
but refreshing until the table imports will work. However, when I go back to
the query (close and then reopen spreadsheet), the address will be saved, but
the proper table may or may not be selected. Is there some way to ensure
that the total query (address + proper table) is consistently pulled from the
Web? I have the need to pull data from several companies and the process
cannot be automated until I am sure that the Web queries will work each time.
