Default Data auto repeat

Hi,

I got certain data keep repeat in the same worksheet, I have to rekey
everytime.I have notice that some data will auto appear the whole line after
I key in the first few alphabets, but some is not.For those not auto appear
data, actually I already key in for few times, any solution,or any other
better way to improve when keep typing the same data ?

Those data I keep retype format as below,

space - space ABCDEFG Co.
space - space TAGADFFA Co.

Thanks.

Default Data auto repeat

Put a complete list in another worksheet and use data|validation on the input
cells. Then you can use the dropdown arrow to select the name you want.

Type in a unique code for each company. When you're done, select the range and
do a bunch of Edit|Replaces.

Use Autocorrect. Create those same kind of codes under
Tools|Autocorrect Options|Autocorrect tab
that converts your code to the company name you want.

Default Data auto repeat

Your post has two questions:
1: Why does entered data show sometimes when you begin to key them, and not
others?
2: How can you make the process of having to rekey the data faster?

1: Because the data you are entering is identical to the rows above it, the
AutoFill function will being the word for you.
Say in Row 1, you typed [Space]-[Space]ABCDEFG Co. and in Row 2, you begin
to type it again [Space]-[Space]. The words ABCDEFG Co. should appear in
Black. However, in Row 3 if you type [Space]-[Space]TAGADFFA Co., AutoFill
will see the words being similar through [Space]-[Space] and you will have to
type either A or T to begin the AutoFill.

2: I would probably suggest creating a small macro if the data in the cells
are in the exact same location every time. Other than that, manual entry is
really the only way to go, unless you can formulaically create it.
