hi
to answer your question..
on the menu bar..
windowunhideselect file from dialogok

but you really don't need to unhide the file if you edit direct through the
vb editor.
Alt+F11.

WindowUnhide is the general method.

Is the macro in your Personal.xls workbook?

Is Personal.xls disabled under HelpAbout MS ExcelDisabled items?

If so, try to enable it.

If you use Excel 2007

Excel 97-2003: WindowUnHide
Excel 2007 : On the View tab in the window group choose UnHide

After you edit the code hide it again
Then close Excel and say Yes to save the changes to your PERSONAL file.

When Excel think the file is corrupt it can disable the file.
You can re-enable it here but if it is really corrupted replace it with a backup.

Excel 2002-2003: HelpAbout MS ExcelDisabled items
Excel 2007 : Office buttonExcel Options..Add-ins
In the "Manage:" dropdown (bottom of the dialog)
Choose "Disabled Items
Go

Hi,

If the excel file is really corrupt, you may try Advanced Excel Repair
at http://www.datanumen.com/aer/ This tool is rather useful in
salvaging damaged Excel xls files.
