ListBox (maybe?) ... If so, how?

Excel 2000 ... Earlier today I saw a spread sheet that
had what appeared to be a Filter Switch in a Cell.

When cell with switch selected ... switch listed 2 values
to choose from (Y or N) ... In addition, as different
cells (requiring same Y or N value) were selected the
switch moved to selected cell.

Above said ... how is this all accomplished as I wish to
replicate this capability on another spread sheet?

Thanks ... Kha

Ken,

What you describe sounds like Data Validation. Check out "Designate valid
cell entries" in Excel Help.

You can use Data Validation to create a dropdown list in a cell. There
are instructions in Excel's help, and he
