I have a file about 3Mb in the "wonderful" Vs7 format. ie with the XLSM
extension. It takes about 1 minute to open up, and then is quite sluggish and prone to breakdown. I saved it as an XLS file, and remarkably, it saved it with a few Kbs less, but opens in less than 2 seconds! I thought the new version was supposed to make smaller files and work faster. I have a 2.66MHz Celron with 1Gb ram running on XP Pro. Rob |
