Hi!

Is it possible?

For example, lets say in A2 of sheet #1 the data entered in
the cell is "ABC Computer Supplies, 123 Main Street, Akron
Ohio 21657." Now if I begin typing "ABC" in Sheet 2
that data will automaticly appear and I simply
have to hit enter and the data is there

Because one of my friend told me that it is possible But
unfortunately
he also dont know how.

Thanks In Advance

You can define a name for the list of cells (in Sheet1) that you want to use
in sheet 2. Then set up data validation based on a list for the cell that
you want the data to be pulled up in.

type the name of the range "=NamedRange" as your selection in the validation
box.

Now if I begin typing "ABC" in Sheet 2

Hi. In Excel 2007, I believe the help topic is:
"Turn automatic completion of cell entries on or off"

This only works for data in the same column, afaik.
I am not aware that the built-in feature looks at other worksheets.
