Default Directory Organization

I would like the files to appear in a certain order, it will not be the
normal file name alpha or date or type. Basically here is an example.

000 Table of Contents.xls
010 Cash Procedures.xls
020 Accts Receivable Procedures.xls
etc.

Is this numbering method the best way or is there another method behind the
scenes.

Thank you,

Steven

If you open a folder and View Details
the columns are things like Name, Type, Size, etc.

Right-clicking that bar give you lots of other options. It might be
possible to assign a sequential value to the atribute and then by click on
the bar, sort by the atribute .

(just like sorting by name or size)

Update this post if you have any luck.
