Default More Page Setup

Same situation, next level: is there a way to 'save' the setup so that I can
apply it to the read-only file each time I view/print it? I especially like
to add date/time and my initials, but I realize I can't set that up in the
'master'.

Possible... yes... But not necessarily easy. What you need to do is to put a
macro in your personal xl workbook (or create an addin but that is a bit more
difficult). The macro will act on each sheet in your group of selected sheets
to give you the proper page setup. If you want to proceed with that just
reply back...

Hmm - yes, I can see that (now)...I'm a Mechanical Design Engineer (30+ yrs),
and although I've done some programming - even a couple pretty hairy ones - I
keep just enough in my active memory to maintain current ops; I've got some
books and manuals, and it sounds like it may be fun to dig it out myself and
try it, maybe even productive - - especially now I know where and how to
look. Thanks again, Jim!jw
