Default Graph changes to blank!!

When I hide the columns where the data is stored for a graph, the graph
becomes blank. The graph is on the same worksheet as the columns with the
data. How do I still show the graph when the columns are hidden?
Thanks!

Hi,

You need to uncheck the option Plot Visible Cells Only.

Xl2003 or befo
Select the chart and then use menus Tools Options Chart Plot Visible
cells only.

XL2007:
Select the chart and use Chart Tools Design Select Data Hidden and
Empty cells Show data in hidden rows and columns.

Cheers
Andy

Unhide the columns
Click on the chart to select it
On the Tools menu, click on Options
On the Chart tab, remove the check mark from Plot Visible Cells Only
Click OK

Ignore the first instruction (Unhide the columns)

Why ignore? I Tried the earlier instruction to "remove the check mark from
Plot Visible Cells Only" and it worked.

Thanks!

Sorry, I meant that you could ignore the first line in my instructions,
which was "Unhide the columns"
That step isn't necessary.
