deleting rows--calculating formulas with each row as it goes?
I frequently work with data with 50,000 rows where I delete 10k to 20k rows
to reduce the amount of data. When I proceed to delete the filtered rows, Excel 2003 appears to try and calculate each formula either before or after it deletes each row. In Excel 97 and 2000 this process would take a second--now it takes 15 minutes! The rest of my Co-Workers have noticed the same issue. Is this a known issue in Office 2003? Excel is a great product, but this is driving me crazy! Thank you advance for your help--Lonnie M. |
