Revealing the related pivot data
The situation is this...
Some of the people viewing my reports can click on the individual cells/data value and it opens a new sheet revealing the related pivot data (or it directs them to my pivot table). That said, others who do the same only get the underlying formula displayed. It's almost like there is a feature that needs to be turned on or maybe a patch that needs to be installed. Can anyone tell me why some people can click to display the data and others can't? Appreciate the help. Ken |

In the PivotTable Options there is a check Box "Enable Drill to Details" that

Revealing the related pivot data
Hi Jim,
I do have that selected on all my pivot tabs and it works fine when working from within those tabs. The problem is this.... I have a "Dashboard" tab (with =getpivot data formulas) and this acts like a summary page so they can look at the overall picture. Now, when I click on one of the getpivot cells it will bring me to the pivot tab that it is pulling the data from but this is feature/functon only works for some and not others. Hopefully I've explained it well enough. Any ideas why it works for some and not others?
