Default Incorrect auto sum

Can someone help me figure out why I routinely get an incorrect total at the
bottom of a column after using autosum?

Without knowing what values are in your column, what value you got, and what
value you expected, to tell you the reason for that would be a miraculous
feat of mind-reading.

Displaying Rounded or truncated formula results or having text entries
are the two main reasons people think the total is incorrect. Please
review your individual cells to determine where your "error" is.
