Default Summary of Cells Containing Data

Is there a way to have excel search through a large range and display
on a separate sheet all the cells in that range that contain data?

Some thoughts ..

Press F5 Special Check "Constants" OK
will select all data-only cells in the sheet at one go.
You could then format the fills a certain color

Press F5 Special Check "Formulas" OK
will likewise select all formula cells in the sheet
