Hi,
I am getting following error message when select 2 columns and click on Text to Column in Data option: 'Microsoft office excel can convert only one column at a time. The range can be many rows tall but no more than one column wide. Try again by selecting cells in one column only.' Please help... Siraj |

You cannot use datatext to columns on more than one column

The answer, as the error message says, is to select only one column at a
time, but before you try to do the separation, make sure that you have at least enough spare columns to the right of the one you are expanding to contain however many columns the expansion will produce. -- David Biddulph "Mac" wrote in message ...
