Default Can you color an excel filename in windows explorer

I am an accountant that needs to reconcile 140 excel ledger accounts each
month that are dumped into separate excel files ( i.e not one workbook with
140 sheets )

I need a quick way of identifying which excel files I have accessed and
reconciled , so I am wondering if there is a way of coloring the name of each
excel file in a different color . I have looked in the properties option of
each filename to no avail

Help please ?
