Default HOW DO I TRANSFER EXCEL SPREADSHEETS WITH QUERIES AND MACROS?

I HAVE CREATED SEVERAL REPORTS FOR SOMEONE USING EXCEL AND MICROSOFT QUERY
AND MACROS BUT CANNOT TRANSFER THEM TO ANOTHER COMPUTER OR EMAIL THEM. IS
THERE A SPECIFIC PROCEDURE FOR DOING THIS?

Hi

(please don't type in all caps - it's considered shouting in these forums
and makes things way more difficult to read)

Couple of questions:
- What's happening when you transfer them to the other machine?
- What version of Excel are you using?
- What version are they using?
- Have their security settings be set to allow macros (tools / macro /
macros - set to medium and choose enable macros when opening the workbook)?
- Are you macros stored in the workbook or are they stored in your
personal.xls - if they're in your personal.xls then they don't travel with
the workbook, so you'll need to go into the VBE window (alt & F11) and in
the project explorer (left hand side of the screen - if you can't see it
choose view / project explorer) you'll need to move / copy them into the
workbook you want to send to the other person.
- not sure what the story with MS Query is, i thought it shipped with every
version of excel from ver 97 onwards ... my only thought here is that they
do not have access to the source files that MS Query is referencing.

Cheers
