I am very familiar with using the Text to Columns feature but for some reason
every excel file i open or if I import a text file to an excel sheet, excel is automatically texting to columns using "space" as a delimiter. How can i make Excel stop auto formating these sheets when i open them? |

That's Excel trying to be helpful.
Rather than importing the text file can you open it directly in Excel? Then the Text to Columns Wizard will run and allow you to choose.
