I have a problem.
I needed to sort by organizational codes to allow me to finish the data entry for a monthly report more timely ~ my theory was to "link" a field to another with the current order of codes (i.e. formula in C1 was "=AB1" so when I sorted column AA into an actual sequential order C1 would turn into w/e cell that coding actual was in AB column....) Well as luck would have it C1 remains =AB1 although it should be AB167... Perhaps this is a function Excel cannot perform.. But I thought I'd ask before driving myself crazy with this one. |
