I have installed office 2007(XP) in my computer, I still need some of my 2003
excel and word file, so the conversion pack was installed and everything worked fine for a while, but now when I try to open older version of 2003 excel files that were modified I get this message:the file you are trying to open is in a different format than sepcified by the file extension, verify that the file is not corrupted..... It seems that all files created before installing 2007 still work fine, but when I open one, modify it and save it, I will be able to open it one day and then the next I get the same message. I tried in different computers, but it seems that once the file has been open and I get the wrong file exetnsion message, it won't work in any other computer. Is there anybody who can help me recover, or re-open those files? |
