hei,
i would like exel to open files named "gel01" through "gel96" and paste one of the columns from each file (called "tail intensity") into another exel-document. i would like the tail intensities from gel01, 02 and 03 to be in the same column, gel04, 05 and 06 in the next and so on. i have tried to do this by manual recording, which didnt work at all. :( can someone help me? sincerely, christine |

Hi Christine,
Do you really need to Macro this? Have you considered linking your spreadsheets together and in the "master" spreadsheet simply copy the columns from your gel01 etc sheets to the new. Once you've created the link any changes made to the original sheets will be reflected in the "master" sheet. I hope this helps.
