displays "####" when 1-digit number typed
I've used MSExcel for years. Why, all-of-a-sudden am I getting the max-out
sign for a 1-digit number in a cell (Excel 2007)? |

I was able to recreate your problem by formatting a cell to about 10 digits,
and then setting the width too narrow. Have you checked your format? "meanmommy" wrote: I've used MSExcel for years. Why, all-of-a-sudden am I getting the max-out sign for a 1-digit number in a cell (Excel 2007)? |

Perhaps the cell is formatted as a date, and your column is too narrow
to display it. Set the format to General. Hope this helps. Pete On Apr 12, 6:10*pm, meanmommy wrote: I've used MSExcel for years. *Why, all-of-a-sudden am I getting the max-out sign for a 1-digit number in a cell (Excel 2007)? |
