Why can't I get the number 10 to follow the number 9 when I sort? I keep
getting : STARGATE season 1-10 STARGATE season 10-10 STARGATE season 2-10 STARGATE season 3-10 STARGATE season 4-10 STARGATE season 5-10 STARGATE season 6-10 STARGATE season 7-10 STARGATE season 8-10 STARGATE season 9-10 This is part of my dvd inventory. What do I have to do? Each line of above data is in one cell as in: GENRE TITLE YEAR MINUTES SCI-FI STARGATE SEASON 1-10 2006 871 |

First of all you own all 10 seasons of Stargate????
Second of all, excel considers that text and 1 comes before 2 regardless of what comes after 1. My best suggestion is to create a column that you can hide on the left side of the data that numbers the seasons 1-10 then sort ascending by the numbers.
