Morning all,
I'm a sys admin at our company, and of late keep getting calls that users Excel documents keep locking over night but with my credentials, any idea how I can track down what is causing it???? I thought or it must be a job of some sort that is running but I don't run anything with my credentials, I usually use service or system accounts.... Anyone have any ideas on how to track it down? Thanks in Advance |

Someone may be using your account without your knowledge. Suggest you change
credentials as a precaution ASAP. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200778 "Kevin" wrote: Morning all, I'm a sys admin at our company, and of late keep getting calls that users Excel documents keep locking over night but with my credentials, any idea how I can track down what is causing it???? Yes there are backups that run, but that's by another team and they use an
assigned service account for that. "Millies Dad" wrote: Are you running a backup over night? |

Just had confirmation that the files are closed every night, but that is from
a user and I never believe what a user says ;)) "Kevin" wrote: Edit::: Files may be open and closed "Kevin" wrote: Thanks, but it's not that. i've changed my password while this was all happening and it still continued.
