Default Printing in 2007 excel

I am new to Excel and have tried to print a schedule for my fishing guides on
one page. I have done the scaling and set margins to narrow and set the
print area to one page by one page and I still cant get the schedule to fit
on one landscape page.
Do I need to do something with the individual cells?

Really on clutching at staws for a possible answer.

When you go into page setup in Excel, on the Page tab, ensure that the paper
size is set to the paper size you are using. If you are actually using paper
that is smaller than the setup thinks it is then that will possibly cause the
problem.

Other than the above, if you have the print area set to print one page wide
by one tall then that is what it should do.
