Default "Checkmarks"

I want to be able to add checkmarks in cells with going to
insert/symbol/etc/etc. I have a 5000 cell list of let's say "To dos" and I
want to check them off 20 or 30 at a time.

Hmm, you'd only have to go to Insert/Symbol one time. After that copy the
checkmark and paste it into as many cells as you can pick at a time. Would
that work?

Default "Checkmarks"

hi
alternate idea.
format the cells to font marlett. it is a font of symbles similar to
wingdings and the letter "a" is a check mark. it copies and pastes rather
nice too.

my thoughts.
