Currently use Excell 2003 - SP2, to document weekly status reports from about
a dozen team mates. The consolidating spreadsheet, with links to all the others, will only display the first 255 characters of a linked cell. Report spreadsheets (data entry point) display 2 or 3 times that many characters without ptoblem. Is the 255 characters for "linked cells" an absolute limit or is there a way to display more characters in a cell linked to another spreadsheet. (Note: all spreadsheets stored in the same folder on a network file server) Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences, -- C. B. Hague Orlando, Fl |
