Hi.. not sure if need hlookup or vlookup or something else
It relates to stamp duty in UK and deprnding on purchase price you have to
pay a percentage.. £0 to £160,000 is 0% £160,001 to £250,000 is 1% £250,001 to £500,000 is 3% £500,001 or over is 4% if property price is £255,555 then 3% should be chosen, if £100,000 then 0% is chosen. Many thanks |

You can use a lookup array:
Say the value was in A1 then the formula would be =LOOKUP(A1,{0,160000,250001,500001;0,0.01,0.02,0.0 3}) edvwvw Teneo wrote: It relates to stamp duty in UK and deprnding on purchase price you have to pay a percentage.. £0 to £160,000 is 0% £160,001 to £250,000 is 1% £250,001 to £500,000 is 3% £500,001 or over is 4% if property price is £255,555 then 3% should be chosen, if £100,000 then 0% is chosen.
