I have been using XP on a laptop which has suffered a major problem. Put the
wrong disc in and reformatted losing all my data - Silly me. Any way it was quite old and I wanted a new one anyawy so bought a new one running Vista and put Office 2007 on it.. I had saved my spread sheets on an external drive. These are shown as .wks files and when I try to open them in Vista it says Excel cannot open files of this type. I imagine the problem is easily solved but this Silver Surfer is looking for step by step instructions on how to do it !! -- Mick Silver Surfer |
