Default Template Wizard & Database question

Hi there

I have an excel template that is linked to an excel spreadsheet (that acts
as a database).

For each record I enter via the template I want to set up a calculation that
will be performed after the record has been entered. However if I set up the
database with a calculated field in each row, then I find that each new
record entered via the template is entered into the next completely blank row
in the spreadsheet with the rows that have the calculated field left blank.

Is there a way to set up the excel database to accept the new record data
and then perform a calculation with that data in the same row?

Thanks for your help, Silena
