Default Creating pivot table from Access database

Hello,

Is there a way to not select a drive letter when creating pivot table in
Excel directly from an Access database? On the select database popup screen,
I cannot find a way to map it to the network \\ drive, instead only from a
letter drive. Thanks

I believe so....

In the "Select Database" dialog window....
Just type in the UNC (or part of it) in the Database Name box
and let the window help.

Type as much of the path as you know
Example:
\\ServerName\Folder1\
Click [OK]

The window will display folders under Folder1 so you can navigate to the
file.

Does that help?
Post back if you have more questions.
