I have Excel 2003
Is there a way to only allow certain answers to be entered in a cell? I only want them to be able to enter either Yes, No Or N/A (case doesn't matter). How can I do this? Thanks! |

Data - Validation - Allow - select List
In the list add Yes, No, NA On the error alert tab you can specify Stop, Warning or Information. -- HTH... Hmmm, I tried that but now it wants me to put yes, no, na in each cell, lol.
I also tried adding it as yes or no or n/a but that didn't work either. Does it need to be in some kind of formula? Did you put in the commas? Comma is the delimiter.

Thank you, Jim. I had put in Yes, No, N/A but needed to account for case so
added yes, no, n/a. That made it happy :) "Jim Thomlinson" wrote: Did you put in the commas? Comma is the delimiter. -- HTH...
