Default i cant use my mouse to scroll through my excel workbook

How do i change this? so i can use the "wheel of my mouse" to scroll up and
down

What is occurring when you do use the wheel? Is the worksheet Zooming? If it
is then you need to change options.

In xl2007 select the Microsoft button top left of screen
Select Excel Options towards bottom right of dialog box.
Select Advanced in left column.
Under Editing options uncheck the box Zoom on roll with intellimouse

Pre xl2007 versions
Select Tools- Options- General Tab and uncheck the box Zoom on roll with
intellimouse
