Excel freezes when opening a Linked Spredsheet
User tries to open a spreadsheet which has links to other spreadsheets and
pulls information from them. When it is opened a message box appears asking to update the spreadsheet, the user does this and excel freezes and stops responding. If it is opened without updating it opens fine as do all the other spreadsheets which have links. I have tried open and repair on the various spreadsheets with no success. We are using Excel 2003 and all spreadsheets are stored on networked drives. |
