Can someone please confirm the location of the toolbar (excel.xlb)
excel 2003 XP) in a networked evironment is in the administrators directory? If I don't have rights to open this directory is there any way I can save my imported copy of a toolbar or do I have to build it from scratch? Thanks |

Your *.xlb file is not a Toolbar.
It is the storage file for all your Toolbar and Menu Customizations. Your *.xlb file is unique to your setup and customizations and should be stored under your profile.......user account and not be accessible to others. It is rare but not unheard of that whoever set up the network may not have given permissions to save to the folder. I would get IT to do a search for all instances of *.xlb and find out where they are.
